The spy photographers over at Autoblog recently snapped this intriguing photo of what appears to be the next Chevrolet Impala SS. While details on the next iteration of the range topping Impala still aren’t certain—the SS model hasn’t been offered since 2009—it could arrive packing General Motors’ new LF3 biturbo 3.0-liter V-6 making something like 380 horsepower. And, if recent reports are to be believed, all those ponies would be routed to the ground through the front wheels. Visually, this test car is sporting upgraded headlights, tweaked taillights, and a more aggressive grille and front fascia.
