Rumors: Spy Shots—2013 Porsche Cayman Interior

The Porsche Cayman is one of the German automaker’s sweetest-handling cars and for 2013, it is receiving a few updates. Spy photographers over at Autoevolution snagged photos of the car’s interior—Like all of the new Porsche’s, the interior is dominated by the commanding Panamera-esque center stack. While other manufacturers are moving beyond allowing drivers to row their own gears, Porsche is keeping with its heritage and has fitted this car, which may be a Cayman S, with a manual transmission.

Under the skin, the new Cayman features a lightweight aluminum chassis like Porsche’s Boxster, and power should be provided by a 2.7-liter flat-six in the base Cayman, and a 3.4-liter flat-six in the hotter Cayman S. Word on the street is that the new Cayman should be arriving sometime later this year.
