The 2013 Detroit Motor Show is right around the corner (it starts on January 14 and runs through January 27) and it promises to be one heck of a show. One of its likely stars will be this, the 2014 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG. The (clearly photoshopped) image was revealed by MB this morning on its Facebook page—the E63 is shown circling a racetrack with the full 2014 E-Class lineup following behind. Little is known about the E63 at this time, but previous reports have the big sedan making 550 horsepower and 531 pound-feet of torque from a biturbocharged V-8, and it will send power to the pavement via an all-wheel-drive system and a seven-speed AMG Speedshift transmission. The design is quintessential AMG with big wheels and deep, aggressive intakes, and if the power rumors are true, the looks will be backed up by some serious performance.
Stay tuned for the full raft of details on the 2014 E63 AMG when the Detroit Motor Show kicks off next week.
