If you’re like us, you’re well on your way to gearing up for the 2011 Formula 1 season. You’ve read a synopsis of each team, reenrolled in your favorite fantasy F1 league, and ordered your black and gold Lotus Renault windbreaker. You’re locked in.
What you haven’t done, unless you’re preparing for the new season on something that approaches an actual F1 budget, is order up your example of this phenomenally cool Red Bull racing seat. The simulator not only looks the part—with more Red Bull logos than you can wave a red towel at—it’s also said to actually mimic the seating position of the RB7 racecar.
We’re not sure which gaming peripherals company is responsible for the actual wheel, hardware, etc, but with a sticker price of $1400, we hope that they’ve gotten the steering dynamics right. If there’s a better way to play F1 2010, we haven’t seen it yet.
