Post-Sebring 12 Hour, The Old-Timers Take Their Turn: 2020 HSR Spring Fling
While we’re all getting excited for the Sebring 12 Hour later this month, there are other great events going on around the same time at the legendary, ex-airfield track: the 2020 HSR Sebring Spring Fling.
As one of the larger vintage racing sanctioning bodies in the US, HSR draws a lot of entries and spectators, thanks to a lot of ex-GTP, Le Mans, Trans Am, GT, Touring, and Formula cars, gracing its grids. Just take a look at the above photo! Sebring is an especially great setting for vintage racing thanks to its long history, though we can’t help but feel sorry for racers dealing with its rougher tarmac in vehicles with more rudimentary dampening.
This year, the HSR Spring Fling takes place the weekend after the Sebring 12 Hour over the weekend of the 26th through 29th. They’ve also got a packed schedule for the whole year, including the world-famous Mitty at Road Atlanta (stop by our RA shop and say hi!). Check out their website for the skinny on 2020.
