New York And Shanghai Auto Show Wrap-Up

News I By Brandon Turkus I April 26, 2011
With two major auto shows in the history books, we look back on all the new and improved models, as well as the concept cars, that debuted at the New York and Shanghai shows.

There were a number of important production models that debuted on both sides of the world, including steroid-injected entries from Chrysler, a new Malibu from Chevrolet, and the long-awaited redesign of the chic Volkswagen Beetle.

On the concept side, Suzuki showed a pair of one-off Kizashis, while Toyota (under the guise of Scion) showed us yet another version of the hotly anticipated FT-86/FR-S, and Nissan hinted at a racing version of its all-electric Leaf.
