New Jersey Added To 2014 Formula 1 Calendar

News I By John Beltz Snyder I September 30, 2013
In what could possibly be great news for North American race fans, Formula 1 has added New Jersey, Mexico, Austria, and Russia to its newly published 2014 calendar. New Jersey and Mexico are listed as provisional pending circuit approval. Korea is also listed as provisional.
The Grand Prix in New Jersey is scheduled for June 1, 2014, and the race would take place on a temporary street circuit along the Hudson River, across from New York City and its iconic skyline.
Americans will now be able to attend two Grands Prix without needing a passport, as the Circuit Of The Americas in Austin, Texas will be host the race on November 9.
Fans south of the border can look forward to a race at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez in Mexico City, scheduled for November 16 as the penultimate race of the season.
In Austria, we see the race return to what is now called Spielberg’s Red Bull Ring (formerly A1-Ring, Osterreichring).
In Russia, the race will take place at the all-new Sochi Olympic Park Circuit on October 5.
