Lucra Teases Hot New Model

News I By John Beltz Snyder I August 01, 2013
Lucra Cars, based in California, has posted these three pictures of a new car design on the company’s Facebook page.

Lucra hasn’t given up specs on the new model yet, but it has confirmed in Facebook comments that it will be available with the AMG 6.3 V-8. Lucra’s LC470 offers that engine with an optional supercharger, as well as GM’s LS3 and LS7 V-8s. Whether those same engine options apply to the new car is unclear, but we’d guess that’d be the case.

From the pictures, we see a shape resembling that of the new Corvette, with an open-top design. Quad side-exit exhaust tips feature prominently just in front of the doors. The side mirrors are mounted quite high along the side of the windshield. A strip of carbon fiber trims around the front and along the sides of the car. Bright yellow brake calipers stand out from the sporty ten-spoke wheels.

We’ll definitely be keeping our eyes open for new information about what Lucra has in the works. So far, we like what we see.
