Andretti made a giant leap in their hopes to join the Formula 1 grid by announcing a partnership with GM, stating their intention to race a team in the Championship under the Cadillac brand. This seems like a match made in Heaven – one of America’s biggest racing names along with one of America’s most successful manufacturers in recent racing history.
The collaboration between one of the biggest racing teams in the United States and the country’s biggest car company has been announced in the wake of the FIA’s indication it will soon open a formal process to find potential new F1 teams. Audi has already been confirmed to join the F1 grid in 2026, and we don’t see how the FIA could deny Andretti’s request.
