HiPhi, the luxury EV automotive brand, and Meridian Audio have announced the strengthening of their partnership to offer a world-class listening experience in the brand’s vehicles. This collaboration began in 2020, and HiPhi X and HiPhi Z models already feature advanced Meridian systems, including a 23-speaker surround system. The forthcoming third HiPhi model will also be equipped with a Meridian audio system.
Meridian Audio is a luxury brand continuously achieving breakthroughs in digital technology innovation. HiPhi is the first Chinese automotive brand to partner with Meridian Audio, and since the formal cooperation between the two parties in 2020, Meridian Audio has been deeply involved in the structural layout design of the brand’s vehicle models, leading the overall development of the vehicle audio systems on board HiPhi X and HiPhi Z.
Meridian Audio has put together a team of senior car audio tuners, acoustic and algorithm engineers for brand’s in-vehicle audio, each member having profound achievements in high-quality car audio tuning. The engineering team has conducted professional customized sound measurements and tuning for the Electric models, creating a mobile concert hall for the brand.
HiPhi Z is a luxury electric vehicle equipped with Meridian audio system as standard configuration across the entire model series. Its audio system platform has a maximum power of 2820W, and the vehicle has a total of 23 speakers in a surround sound layout. Each speaker is equipped with at least one dedicated independent power channel to ensure low distortion and a high-quality dynamic sound experience.
The custom audio system utilizes six Meridian proprietary sound management technologies, namely TRUE TIME, DIGITAL PRECISION, HORIZON, PERFECT BALANCE, INTELLI-Q, and RE-Q. The EV brand has also refined different diaphragm materials for different types of loudspeakers, combined with the application of million-level NVH tuning and innovative materials for the entire vehicle, essentially converting the cockpit into a mobile concert hall.
