Chrysler 200 To Start Below $20,000

Today, Chrysler announced pricing for two of its 2011 models, the 200 sedan and the Town & Country minivan. The new Chrysler 200 will start just under the $20K price point.

The 200 replaces the Sebring nameplate in Chrysler’s lineup, and slots in under the larger 300. It will be offered in four trim levels, the LS, Touring, Limited, and S. The base 200 LX will start at $19,995. The Touring begins at $21,995. The Limited will start at $24,495. Chrysler has not announced pricing on the late-availability 200 S. Engine offerings are a 2.4-liter four, and the new 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6, good for 283 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque.

Chrysler also announced pricing for the 2011 Town & Country, which will begin at $30,995, with the line-topping Limited model beginning at $39,495.

November 10, 2010 , Auburn Hills, Mich. – Chrysler today announced pricing for its new 2011 Chrysler 200 sedan and 2011 Chrysler Town & Country minivan.

The new Chrysler 200 sedan offers consumers exceptional craftsmanship inside and out, a refined and spirited driving experience, innovative technology, an abundance of standard safety features and an extraordinary level of standard content.

Virtually every system in the sedan is new or upgraded for 2011, giving the Chrysler 200 its own identity and space in the highly competitive mid-size sedan segment. The new 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine produces 283 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft. of torque, and is mated to the 62TE six-speed transmission.
