Beijing 2012: Rolls-Royce Ghost Six Senses Concept
It’s no secret that the Chinese market is a big deal. What you may not know, though, is that it’s the limousine business that’s really booming in the communist country. Look no further than the Jaguar XJ Ultimate or Chrysler 300 Ruyi Design Concept that debuted yesterday, or the Rolls-Royce Ghost Six Senses Concept that debuted today.
The Ghost Six Senses Concept is, not surprisingly, based off of the standard Ghost, which is in turn built on the (heavily modified) bones of the BMW 7-Series.
The Ghost Concept has been painted in pearlescent Carrara White, and fitted with unique alloy wheels. The interior finished in beautifully fine hides and walnut burr trim, along with some chrome and aluminum. The Ghost Six Senses features an uprated audio system with an improved amp and speakers concealed in the headliner. Combine this with the traditionally quiet ride of a Rolls, and we’re pretty certain this is the best place to listen to your iPod in the world.
Rolls-Royce doesn’t mention production, but we suspect that a big enough check could secure your very own Ghost Six Senses.

Beautiful and elegant, a Rolls-Royce Ghost is a sign of impeccable taste, a luxury car that is instantly pleasing to the eye. Ghost Six Senses’ pearlescent Carrara White finish complements new forged alloy wheels while eyes are immediately drawn to rich interior detailing upon entry through its coach doors. The deep lustre of the Walnut Burr veneer complete with diagonally-oriented, brown oak cross-banding, are designed to hint at the extraordinary power at the driver’s disposal.
Sound
For more than 100 years the sound of silence has driven the Rolls-Royce brand. But 21st century Ghost and Phantom models also present an auditorium in which the most advanced systems can deliver music in the most impressive fashion. The concept audio system in Ghost Six Senses richly fills the spacious rear cabin thanks to its upgraded amplifier and the inclusion of ‘exciter’ speakers housed in the leather headlining that help raise the centre of sound closer to a passenger’s ear.
