While we're headed into the final stretch of the 2017 season, some racers and would-be racers are starting to look ahead to 2018. And some of them are wondering what class to run in 2018. Maybe they're just starting out. Or maybe they're tired of the class they're in. Each racer has his own needs and there are lots of classes to choose from. But really, there are only a few worth serious consideration.
With this in mind, we thought we'd take a crack at the 10 Best road racing classes for 2018. We've assessed the factors that make a class a wise choice and we've rated each class from 1( weak) to 10(strong) on each factor. You may have a different view, so please chime in with a comment if you have a favorite class that we missed (and score the factors for that class if you would).
