Video: 750-Horsepower Hennessey Corvette ZR1

Features I By John Beltz Snyder I September 18, 2013
Hennessey may be on its way to beating Chevrolet to its own C7 Corvette ZR1, but that doesn’t mean it won’t tinker with an older model. The tuner from Texas has uploaded this video of its 750-horsepower Corvette ZR1, and the car is bonkers.

The video starts with the starting and idling, the sound of which is enough to get the heart racing. We get shots of some of the details, then a standing start and fly-by. Some smoky tires and a dark, menacing silhouette later, and we’re left wanting more.

According to Henenssey’s website, the C6 ZR750 does a 0-60 sprint in 2.8 seconds, and has a top speed of 224 miles per hour.

Have a look in the video, below.
