Racecar Profile: Chevron GT3 2014 Spec

Cars, Features I By Winding Road Staff I May 07, 2014
The new Chevron GT3 marks the British company’s first foray back into the North American market in decades. The Chevron brand was made famous in the 1960s, 70s, and 80s by its successful Formula Atlantic, Formula 5000, and S2000 cars as well as sports racers like the B16.

Set to go toe to toe with the likes of the SRT Viper and Chevrolet Corvette in the NARRA GT Unlimited class in the US and other European rivals in the GT Cup in the UK, the GT3 is powered by a 440bhp LS3-derived V8 mated to a Hewland LLS paddle shifted transmission. An LS7-powered variant of the GT3 is said to be in the works as well.
