Found On Craigslist: 2002 Jeep Liberty Convertible

Craigslist strikes again. Let’s just list off the number of things that are awesome about this 2002 Jeep Liberty:

 

1) It’s a custom convertible Jeep. You know, because Jeep doesn’t sell a convertible or anything.

 

2) It’s been rhino-lined. No, we aren’t talking about just the trunk area. We’re talking about the entire exterior of the vehicle. Durability.

 

3) In place of the doors, it looks like cattle gates have been fitted. We have no idea if they open, or if you just need to NASCAR your way in there.

 

4) “is NOT a rollover we just customized this jeep.” Normally we’d recommend a CarFax report, but these folks seem trustworthy.

 

The seller claims this Liberty has between 200,000 and 209,999 miles on it, and is fitted with a 3.7-liter V-6. Besides the roll cage, it includes aluminum struts and Rough Country 9000 shock absorbers, which from our research are good for about a two-inch lift (although the seller claims its been lifted three inches). The ad doesn’t mention what sort of wheels and tires have been fitted.

 

The seller is asking for $7000, and the Jeep is located near Flint, Michigan.
