Found On Craigslist: 1988 Yugo With Toronado V-8 Transplant

In the realm of things we like, few things rank higher than bacon, dogs, beer, and Christina Hendricks. Small, eastern European hatchbacks with American V-8s stuffed amidships are one of those things.

Yes friends, your eyes don’t deceive you, this is a 1988 Yugo with a 455-cubic-inch Oldsmobile V-8 (generously loaned from a Toronado) where the backseats should be. Honestly, we don’t know much about it aside from its post on Craigslist. The owner calls it a “one of a kind custom cruiser,” and claims that it’s running (producing over 325 horsepower), street legal, and is actually registered. Good enough for us.

We’ll be contacting the seller today to try and arrange a test drive. Pray that he answers. Pray that he doesn’t have guns. Pray for our souls.
