Epic Races: 25 Hours Of Thunderhill

Features, Racing I By Winding Road Staff I November 21, 2017

The 25 Hours of Thunderhill holds a special spot in our hearts. It is a long endurance race that is open to amateurs, on somewhat limited budgets (compared to Le Mans or even VLN certainly), that draws interesting cars and drivers and is held on a very good track. Assuming you are with us on this, and that maybe you have some time to kill on Thanksgiving and the following weekends, here are some things to do:

1. Watch "The Big Engine That Could", a professional documentary about WRR's 2013 run at the 25 Hours.  Note: just click to play episode 1 and the other episodes will follow:

2. Watch the 2015 "Survive the 25" documentary from NASA about that year's race:

3. Watch the 2017 race on December 2-3 via livestream at nasa25hour.com
