Video: Semi-Truck Motor in Silverado

Some diesel swaps are a worthwhile consideration, but others are, quite simply, bizarre. We're still wondering why someone would want to put a Detroit Diesel 4-53 motor - the same oily two-stroke, 212 cubic-inch four-cylinder that powered fishing boats and medium-duty trucks - into an 80's Silverado. We're still scratching our heads, but enjoy the sounds - and the raucous roar of the mill - in the meantime.
