Help Motorists Help You: Pedestrian Turn Signal Glasses

eyeblinker-hl.jpg

For pedestrians that just can’t seem to stop being hit by cars, bicycles, and other people, comes a stylish set of eye wear that let everyone know just what you’re thinking.

These pedestrian turn signal glasses utilize four bright red LED lights, and a hand-held remote control that allow a user to inform oncoming traffic to their intention to turn. The lights are strategically positioned in the front and back of the wearer’s head, so they can be viewed from all sides.

Despite the possibility of doing irreparable harm to one’s eyes (we're instantly reminded of the Opti-Grab invention from Steve Martin’s The Jerk), we’d imagine that the turn signal glasses pose at least a passing threat of causing seizures in epileptic passers by. But hey, they’re only $8.99!

Well, at least they're slightly more stylish than the Porsche Design ones.
