Custom Couture: Hot Rod Jewelry

hot-rod-jewelry-hl.jpg

The brainchild of silversmiths Brad Johnson and Alicia Hanson, Hot Rod Jewelry combines a love of great craftsmanship and great cars.

The company specializes in pieces that glorify the automotive heroes of hot rod culture in the form of rings and bracelets. Cast from sterling silver, fans can choose from rings that feature the grills of a 1949 Mercury, a ’59 Caddy, or even sporting a bare V-8 engine.

The jewelers are also starting to create one-off custom bracelets, etched with the image of your own favorite custom car. The perfect way to bring your baby with you wherever you go.

Check out a sample of Hot Rod’s work in our gallery below, and then tell us what you think in comments.
