Spied! 2009 Audi A4 Allroad Testing in Sweden

2009audiallroadhl.jpgIt looks like Audi is planning on augmenting its all-wheel-drive Allroad lineup, currently limited to the A6 Avant, by adding an A4 variant to the mix.

The A4 Allroad has gone quickly from rumor to apparent reality, as spy shooters have caught out this example testing in the cold clutches of the Swedish countryside. The new Allroad is seen here in sedan guise, but sources claim that will likely only last until the new A4 Avant body becomes available.

The butch mule seen in these photos is easily identified as an Allroad example, thanks to the wide, trimmed fender flares, and the higher ride height. Click through the link to see all the images of the new car, and then tell us what you think in comments.

Is this model really needed in the Audi lineup?

Siebenburgischer

It would be awesome if they would offer it in a sedan form and not just a wagon, they would be the only ones to offer such a vehicle. And there is always a need for something new and unique.
