Chrysler Grants Michigan Man’s Cowboy Wish

Cattle running amok on the streets of Detroit? Yeah, well, sort of. Chrysler introduced the new Dodge Ram with a cattle drive on the streets on Sunday at the NAIAS. And it was all due to the cowboy fantasies of a local man, Andrew Cummins.

According to an interview with Cummins' wife, Lin, in the Detroit Fee Press, Cummins has been trying to push the idea on the automaker for the past 12 years. The idea was reportedly pitched to former communications chief of Chrysler LLC Jason Vines and three months ago, Vines granted Cummins his wish.

In the interview, Lin said her husband is, “enamored with cowboy life, the honesty, the hardworking cowboy.
