Nice thing for Manny to do (just Manny being Manny) and sad reminder of how cool Lincoln was before Ford forgot how to design cars.

I always thought the Continental from this period was so much cooler than a Caddy because it was elegant, understated (as in not all chromed up like a Caddy) and had great road presence. I still turn and look everytime I see one.

Those suicide doors for the back were superb. My grandmother had a string of the four-doors throughout the 1960s. She loved them. In the 1970s, when Lincoln screwed up the designs, she looked at the Cadillac, hated it, and bought a Chevy Caprice. She said the Cadillac looked like a Chevy, so why pay more?
