This is not how it works in a real environment, this is how it works in MS Fantasyland. MS is almost incapable of pulling this off without massive bugs. This will make people yearn for BMW's iDrive. It will be ready for the road only after it is obsolete.
Big Hint here Ford - call Sun, or Nokia, or someone who makes things that actually work as advertised and dump MS faster than a dropped call.
